ORIGIN
My passion to raise a special breed for special people goes back to 1992 when my brother, importing a horse from Great Britain, found, in the van with the colt, a little dog: Joshua was my first Jack Russell Terrier.
My brother said: “Since you are a veterinary and raise terriers, keep this one too.
And so, between show Airedales and Bedlingtons, I discovered this little big dog.
Among so many noble blooded dogs, the little pest seduced me to the point that he was the only one who could use my bed.
Once I became a Show Dog Judge, I wanted more and more to dedicate myself to the breeding of only one race: J.R.T., a bold and healthy dog with a great temper.
GRANLASCO KENNEL
Gran Lasco Kennel is recognized since 1986 by ENCI, by FCI as well as by English Kennel Club for the selection of AiredaleT., Bedlington T., and, since 2000, of Jack Russell Terrier.
We have been breeding top quality Airedales and Bedlingtons T. for 15 years. Now and for the last 13 years, we have breed J.R.T. (from Australian bloodlines), that are now performing extremely well in show rings throughout Italy and Europe.
We raise outstanding puppies for outstanding homes.
We aim at reproducing dogs of our bloodlines , bringing to light homogeneous puppies, recognizable as belonging to our Kennel through their phenotypical traits. The most important thing for us is healthy dogs with no inherited disease, with good temperament, lovely expression and nice appearance.
